Dear members and supporters of We Are Family,
As we approach the end of 2022, we celebrate that we now have over 1,300 We Are Family members, who have the opportunity to come together to support each other through the challenges of being adoptive parents, and also to share the joys that it brings.
Day by day, we are continuing to grow, and as an adoption community by adopters and for adopters, we want to ensure that there are no barriers to accessing our services. This is why membership to We Are Family has always been and will continue to be free.
However, keeping membership free is reliant on the generosity of our funders and donors, which is why we’re asking our community if you could make a donation to our Big Give Christmas Challenge between Tuesday 29th November – Tuesday 6th December and have it doubled at no extra cost to you.
One donation, double the impact.
Your donation will help us grow our services and reach more adoptive families who want to be part of our peer support community. From expanding our existing offer to include even more opportunities to connect (including free activities at local museums, galleries and other family friendly places) to running peer support training, creating new Podcasts and expanding our Talks and Hub content, 2023 is set to be our busiest year yet!
We’re aiming to raise a total of £4,000, with half kindly donated by Adopt London and Monday Charitable Trust.
